In a world where millions of people live with chronic hepatitis B infection, our mission is clear: to eliminate this threat, starting with the vibrant communities of Ghana.
At VaxCare Connect, we understand the urgency and severity of the situation. Hepatitis B contributes to 820,000 deaths annually, surpassing the toll of HIV or malaria. It stands as the most common cause of liver cancer and the third leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide.
This grim reality propels us into action, committed to a holistic approach that spans awareness, screening, vaccination, and treatment programs. Our vision extends beyond eradicating the disease alone. We aspire to build a society where everyone is not only protected from hepatitis B but also informed and thriving in well-being.
