VaxCare Connect's Successful Engagement with Adolescent and Youth Dressmaking Group

VaxCare Connect conducted a highly successful outreach program on 16th February 2024 with an enthusiastic adolescent and youth group engaged in dressmaking in Daffiama Bussie Issa, located in the Upper West Region of Ghana. The mission was to raise awareness about hepatitis B, educate the community, and discuss the significance of vaccination and treatment programs.

Engagement and Participation:
The dressmaking group actively participated in the awareness session, demonstrating keen interest in learning about hepatitis B. Interactive discussions fostered a positive environment, encouraging questions and knowledge-sharing.

Awareness Creation:
Comprehensive information on hepatitis B, its transmission, and the importance of early detection was provided. Engaging visuals and real-life stories were shared to enhance understanding and foster empathy.

Educational Initiatives:
Tailored educational materials were distributed, emphasizing the role of vaccinations in preventing hepatitis B. Workshops on the importance of regular screenings and available treatment options were conducted.

Community Empowerment:
